Signia MaX

Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX is the first hearing aid built on Signia's new MaX platform, short for Multi-adaptive Xperience. Most hearing aids use artificial intelligence for a single job, usually reducing background noise. MaX takes a broader approach, using four separate AI systems that work together to make sense of a whole listening situation at once. The goal is not simply to make noisy rooms quieter. It is to keep you connected to the people you want to hear while preserving your awareness of the world around you, especially in the fast-moving group conversations where hearing aids often struggle.

Four Kinds of Intelligence, Working Together

Most hearing aids treat listening as a simple contest between speech and noise. MaX breaks the job into four specialized parts, each handled by its own AI network.

One system detects and isolates the voices worth hearing. A second recognizes when you are speaking, so your own voice sounds natural, and works right out of the box with no clinic calibration step. A third continuously reads the overall environment rather than sorting it into fixed categories. A fourth studies the noise around you, identifying what type it is and where it comes from before deciding how firmly to reduce it. Crucially, the four share information constantly, so your hearing aids respond to the full moment rather than one piece of it.

Designed for Group Conversations

Following a conversation when several people are talking at once, with noise coming from every direction, is one of the hardest listening situations there is. MaX is built specifically for it. Its RealTime Conversation Enhancement tracks multiple talkers as the conversation moves around a table, while the two hearing aids coordinate so the left and right make a single, unified decision rather than reacting separately.

Signia's own research points to strong results in these settings, though real-world performance is best confirmed through professional testing and your own experience.

Power and Connectivity

Running four AI networks at once takes real processing power. Signia says the MaX chip offers substantially more processing capability, more memory, and greater energy efficiency than its previous IX platform, which is what keeps the AI active all day rather than only for a special mode. Battery life reaches up to around 30 hours, depending on how much you stream and where you spend your time. The rechargeable receiver-in-canal design ships with a pocket-size charger holding up to four full charges, and a quick 30-minute top-up delivers up to six additional hours.

On connectivity, MaX uses Signia's OneConnect technology to combine several wireless options in one hearing aid: Bluetooth Classic, Bluetooth LE Audio, and a traditional telecoil for loop systems in theaters and public buildings. The hardware is also Auracast-capable, readying you for broadcast audio in airports, venues, and houses of worship. Signia expects to switch on full Auracast functionality through a Signia One app update by March 2027, so it is best thought of as a forward-looking benefit.

Who MaX Suits Best

MaX is a strong match if your biggest challenges involve restaurants, social events, meetings, and family gatherings, the multi-talker settings where noise comes from all sides. Its broad connectivity also appeals if you want a hearing aid that works across today's wireless systems and the shared-audio technology still emerging. That said, the most advanced hearing aid is not automatically the right one for everyone. Your hearing test results, listening needs, and how you respond to amplification all matter.
